Over the past twenty years, Dr. Lu has performed over 50,000 laser and cataract surgeries for glaucoma and cataract patients. She continuously upgrades her skills, allowing her to incorporate all important advancements in ophthalmology with her extensive surgical experience to optimize her patient care.

As one of the first ophthalmologists in North America to implant multifocal intraocular lenses (IOLs), Dr. Lu has the experience to offer a range of IOL lens that provide the best visual outcome for her patients.

On August 24, 2015, Dr. Lu performed 1St Laser Cataract surgery at Toronto Scarborough Hospital, which marked First Laser cataract surgery done in an Ontario Province Public Hospital.

Dr. Lu is the Head of Ophthalmology Division of Scarborough Health Network and Assistant Professor at Department of Ophthalmology and Vision Science at University of Toronto.
